World Antimicrobial Awareness Week
18 – 24 November 2024
This week is World Antimicrobial Awareness Week. It takes place each year and is led globally by the World Health Organization.
Their campaign aims to increase awareness of Global Antimicrobial Resistance and to encourage best practices to avoid the further development of drug-resistant infections.
Antibiotics are losing their effectiveness due to overuse and misuse. Please don’t self-medicate and always seek the advice of a qualified healthcare professional before taking antibiotics
