Consultations are by appointment only and you can expect to be seen within 30 minutes of your appointment time. If, for any reason, you cannot be seen within this time an explanation will be given for the delay.
You may consult with any doctor or nurse in the practice but it is best to stay with the same doctor for the same problem if possible. You may make an appointment either by phoning reception, calling in at the surgery or registering for online access.
It is possible to talk to either the nurse or doctor by telephone. In this case, just tell the receptionist you would like to book a telephone consultation.
Appointments are pre-bookable up to 1 month in advance. If you need an urgent on-the-day appointment telephone at 08.30 for a morning appointment and 11.00 for an afternoon one. These appointments are allocated on a first come first serve basis and you will be given a time to come to the surgery.
If there are no appointments left and you feel you cannot wait until the following day you can either request that you be placed on the triage list for a doctor to review and you will then be contacted later in the day, or you could attend the Walk-In Centre at Trafford General Hospital between 08.00 and 20.00.
We now offer late evening appointments on Mondays.

Duration of Appointments
The doctors work with a system of 10 minute appointments. Please bear in mind that, if you bring more than one problem to a consultation, it may be difficult for your doctor to manage more than one issue. You may be asked to return to another appointment. If you feel that your appointment needs to be longer, then it is possible to request a double appointment when booking.
If you find that you cannot attend your appointment, please let us know.
